Audio Of Obama Saying He WILL Bankrupt The Coal Industry

Posted on November 3rd, 2008 in General by rfburnhertz

Naked Emperor News nails Barack Obama again.

This time Naked Emperor has unearthed audio of Barack saying he will bankrupt the coal industry.

Let me sort of describe my overall policy.

What I’ve said is that we would put a cap and trade system in place that is as aggressive, if not more aggressive, than anybody else’s out there.

I was the first to call for a 100% auction on the cap and trade system, which means that every unit of carbon or greenhouse gases emitted would be charged to the polluter. That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants that are being built, that they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted down caps that are being placed, imposed every year.

So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.

That will also generate billions of dollars that we can invest in solar, wind, biodiesel and other alternative energy approaches.

The only thing I’ve said with respect to coal, I haven’t been some coal booster. What I have said is that for us to take coal off the table as a ideological matter as opposed to saying if technology allows us to use coal in a clean way, we should pursue it.

So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can.

It’s just that it will bankrupt them.

Bankrupting the coal industry so could put more than one hundred thousand people in the unemployment line, meaning more competition for already hard to find jobs as well as skyrocketing energy costs.

No new coal plants would be built, the cost will prohibit their building.

In the audio Barack said:

every unit of carbon or greenhouse gases emitted would be charged to the polluter

How far would he take this charging (read: taxation) of “polluters”?
You and I are in fact polluters to one extent or the other.

There exist untold number of ways to charge businesses and individuals for their pollution, energy is not the only pollution we produce.

He talks of using the money gathered from the greenhouse emissions tax to finance alternative energies. There are no alternative energies on the table right now that are anywhere near being viable in such a way as to even consider replacing coal.

Any such alternative energies which might hold potential to replace coal are at best more than a decade from viability.

The taxation of greenhouse emissions may in fact generate billions of dollars as he say’s, it will also generate joblessness, individual reliance on government (which I’m sure would please him), given time it isn’t hard to imagine brownouts and rolling blackout across the nation.

America may well make a very disastrous choice this November 4th if they choose Barack Obama to lead this nation.

I am not among the money silly conservatives who believe that Barack Obama is a good and well intentioned man with bad ideas.

I believe the considerable and ever mounting evidence suggests that he is anything but well intentioned and is a man with very specific plans. Plans which mean to make as many Americans as possible dependent, even subservient to the government.

Liberal Hate - Pick On A Downs Syndrome Baby Because You Disagree Politicaly With His Mother

Posted on November 1st, 2008 in Liberal Hate by rfburnhertz

This is my first post on this blog under the new category ‘Liberal Hate’, I expect it is a category that will have many posts under it with in a short period of time.

This picture was posted on Wonkette along with the following commentary:

Little baby Trig must be so glad he wasn’t aborted for this, his first Halloween, because his parents dressed him up like a political party symbol to be carried around at snarling political events. Aww. Isn’t life just grand?

The commentary by itself is bad enough as it is clearly a pro-abortionist taking a shot at Sarah Palin for the fact that she is Pro-Life and that she did not murder a child which the author Jim Newell at least indicates he believes should have been aborted; that said, the real expressions of hate are to be found in the comments section.

The comments were so over the top that the comment section was eventually closed.

If you you follow the link and choose to read the comments section be warned that a good portion of the comments are vulgar and sexual in nature.

Yet Another Reason To Vote McCain

Posted on October 31st, 2008 in United States Politics by rfburnhertz

Gallup conducted a poll in many nations through out the world asking the poll takers:

Who would you personally rather see elected president of the United States

When the majority of those asked in the Socialist nations of Europe and the Islamic controlled nations say they would rather see Barack Obama elected, then I know a vote for McCain is the right vote.

It isn’t that I do not want America to liked and admired in the world but frankly when nations such as France, Denmark or Saudi Arabia do not like us, I could care less.

When socialists and Islamic extremists do not like us, then I am happy because it indicates that we as a people and our government are doing at least a little something right.

I don’t want the socialist and the Islamic extremists to consider us their friends.
I want them to know that we stand opposed to their ideologies, opposed to their worldviews.

Despite our many flaws as a people and as a government, the United States is still that shining city on a hill.

I take great pride in the fact that we are not like the French, we are not like the Saudi Arabians.
We are Americans.

Vote McCain and piss off a Frenchy!

I Choose My Friends Carefully; Politically Active Black Students, Foreign Students, The Chicanos, The Marxist Professors And Structural Feminists

Posted on October 29th, 2008 in United States Politics by rfburnhertz

Barack Obama has tried to wring out every last drop he can from that tired rag “McCain equals Bush”.
If we put that same logic to work against Obama then “Obama equals Marx”.

I’ll begin with a quote from Barack Obama’s book “Dreams From My Father”

I’d seen this some months ago but saw it again today while reading an article by Bill Sammon of Fox News and it brought to mind some other issues which assist in demonstrating that at best Barack Obama is a Socialist.

To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets. We smoked cigarettes and wore leather jackets. At night, in the dorms, we discussed neocolonialism, Franz Fanon, Eurocentrism and patriarchy.

[If you do not know who Franz Fanon (actual name was Frantz Fanon) is you can find a quick overview here: Frantz Fanon was a psychiatrist, philosopher, revolutionary, and author from Martinique. He was influential in the field of post-colonial studies and was perhaps the pre-eminent thinker of the 20th century on the issue of decolonization and the psychopathology of colonization. His works have inspired anti-colonial liberation movements for more than four decades.]
He chose his friends carefully, given the description of his friends he clearly sought out the radical fringe and those groups which tended towards Socialist and Marxist ideology.
If Barack did not favor a Socialist/Marxist ideology did he then seek such person out to be his friends?

Barack’s mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, was a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).
Typically a mentor is one who is meant to influence a person in a specific direction in life. A counselor, a teacher.

Campaign workers for Barack Obama displayed a flag featuring communist hero Che Guevara.

I haven’t heard since the first time I saw this image, but I am sure the flag has since been removed per the Obama campaign. Removed or not it demonstrates the type of person Obama attracts and inspires to work for his election.

Marx and Obama have in common a disdain for religion.
Speaking of small town America Obama said the following:

they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations

No less hostility was displayed by Marx when he stated:

Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the sentiment of a heartless world, and the soul of a soulless condition. It is the opium of the people

Or

Religion is the impotence of the human mind to deal with occurrences it cannot understand

Mr. Obama essentially echoed the thoughts of Karl Marx.

Mr. Obama makes claim to Christianity yet words such as this flow with ease from his heart, to his mind and out his mouth.

Perhaps not that surprising when you look closely at the church he attended for 20 years which taught from the pulpit a very Socialist perversion of the Gospel.

Senator Obama has previously worked with ACORN (though he has recently begun to deny any direct involvement with the group) which in the 1980 made a practice of placing squatters in unoccupied homes.

ACORN speaks to this on their website:

ACORN sought to place needy people in the resulting vacant homes. This required the forceful and illegal (though logical and moral) seizing of the properties - squatting.

The squatting campaigns involved personal, community and political dimensions. The personal needs of people without homes attracted many to advertisements ACORN placed in papers asking “Do you need a home?” The squatting campaign required a personal commitment to move into a vacant, usually poorly kept house and refit it for comfortable living. It also involved the risk of arrest if local authorities refused them the legal occupation of the home.

How very Marxist indeed.

Barack Obama was listed as being a member of the Socialist organization known as the New Party.
We all know about Bill Ayers the domestic terrorist and his association with Barack Obama.
Obama makes a regular claim that Ayers was just “Some guy in the neighborhood”.
Seem’s a tad odd that Obama would review and endorse a book for “Some guy in the neighborhood”.

Consider all of the above information to be puzzle pieces.
Each piece may not demonstrate on it’s own that Barack Obama is a Socialist or a Marxist.
But as we put all the pieces together the picture emerges in a very clear manner.

I by no means presented all of the pieces here, but enough were presented to know what the picture will look like when the last piece is added to the puzzle.

Many other blogs have covered this topic in much more depth than I have.

Obama’s America; A Sneak-Peek?

Posted on October 29th, 2008 in Pro-Life, Religion, United States Politics by rfburnhertz

Focus on the Family’s Citizenlink has produced for their Turn Signal a video which theorizes what America might look like in the year 2012 as a result of an Obama presidency.
I fear they might not be to far off target.
In fact, it might be a little optimistic.
I had some issues embedding the video, it works but some of the coding carried over into this post.
You can always go to the Turn Signal link above to view the video on the Citizenlink website.
