You’re Freakin’ Me Out Dude!

Posted on October 30th, 2008 in United States Politics by rfburnhertz

I admit I’m not to keen on the thought of you, Barack Obama, being the president of these United States of America, but these last couple of weeks every time you and your buddy Joe open your yaps you really weird me out.

You got Slow Joe Biden out there telling us that something major is going to take place in the first six months of your administration. He makes it sound like hell is going to rain down and you, the messiah, are going to save our sorry, needful, can’t do for ourselves, butts.

The conspiracy theorist in me has got his eye’s peeled for a generated crisis.

Then you go out on your stupid infomercial and tell us that you are going to “rebuild the military”, to top it off you add the following:

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded

What the crap is that?
Has a kind of freaky “Fahrenheit 451″ sound to it.

Holy hell it sounds like some crazy force of armed civilian code enforcers.
99% of my mind tells me this is not what you mean, but there is that 1% that just isn’t too sure.

As I looked into this further it seems that this IS NOT the first time you have made mention of such a security force. Doesn’t surprise me that the media has made little to no mention of this.

I have found at least four references to you having previously made this same statement, none of those four are from the MSM (surprise).

American Thinker a July, 2008 article.
Hot Air also from July, 2008.
World Net Daily September, 2008.
A second article from World Net Daily.
It’s the last article that will inform us just what might meant by a ‘Civilian national security force’, not that there is much comfort in this possible explanation either.

I am more inclined to believe the take of The American Thinker article which say’s:

It seems clear that he meant to say, in effect, that the security of the nation is as dependent on its unarmed community service providers as it is on its armed military personnel. Even the nomenclature “corps,” as in Peace Corps, carries a martial connotation as does the name, Salvation Army. His point: national security begins with civilians. It’s a message like the one America’s home front heard throughout World War II. Except in his case, he means to marshal volunteers for social service and economic equality while saving the environment.

“Because the future of our nation depends on the soldier at Fort Carson, but is also depends on the teacher in East LA, the nurse in Appalachia, the after-school worker in New Orleans…”

That is, of course, true. But ultimate national security requires someone to carry, and, if necessary, discharge a deadly weapon with intent to kill. This is something teachers, nurses and after-school workers are typically unaccustomed to doing as part of their service obligations.

The article continues:

Voters haven’t paid much attention to his “Service” plan because the old news media has ignored it. That will likely continue, even though Obama attached an approximate price tag to it in Colorado Springs. When Obama said that the “civilian national security force” would be just as “well-funded” as the Armed Forces, he stepped squarely into the giant sandbox and played with the big numbers. As the late Carl Sagan said, “billions and billions” of dollars. Here’s how.

The FY 2008 Department of Defense (DoD) budget is about $482 billion. Obama has announced his intentions to cut “tens of billions of dollars in wasteful spending,” including $9 billion per month spent in Iraq and expenditures for the missile defense system, while increasing the force size of the Army and Marine Corps.

Let’s imagine “tens of billions” in cuts eventually adds up to a whopping $150 billion. That would be a near one-third cut in defense spending, taking the DoD budget down to $332 billion. Even in such an extreme case of DoD budget reduction, for his “civilian national security force” to be “just as well-funded” would mean funding his community service initiatives at an equivalent $332 billion.

Consequently, another $332 billion in addition to the Pentagon’s reduced budget of $332 billion equals a net increase of $182 billion in the annual federal budget, assuming we sponge-up the already existing expenditures for the relatively meager, by comparison, existing service programs he plans to expand. That’s $182,000,000,000 in new federal monies, and that means higher taxes.

In his entire life, Senator Obama has never managed an organization larger than a Senate staff, or that of a law school publication. And, he’s never operated a for-profit business or been responsible for any profit center within one. So, while words matter to Senator Obama, it’s not clear if math means anything to him at all.

So maybe my neighbor, who might be a part of this ‘Civilian National Security Force’, won’t shoot me after all, but it doesn’t make our economic future look any brighter does it?

Either way it stinks of extreme socialism…
more commonly known as Marxism.

I Choose My Friends Carefully; Politically Active Black Students, Foreign Students, The Chicanos, The Marxist Professors And Structural Feminists

Posted on October 29th, 2008 in United States Politics by rfburnhertz

Barack Obama has tried to wring out every last drop he can from that tired rag “McCain equals Bush”.
If we put that same logic to work against Obama then “Obama equals Marx”.

I’ll begin with a quote from Barack Obama’s book “Dreams From My Father”

I’d seen this some months ago but saw it again today while reading an article by Bill Sammon of Fox News and it brought to mind some other issues which assist in demonstrating that at best Barack Obama is a Socialist.

To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets. We smoked cigarettes and wore leather jackets. At night, in the dorms, we discussed neocolonialism, Franz Fanon, Eurocentrism and patriarchy.

[If you do not know who Franz Fanon (actual name was Frantz Fanon) is you can find a quick overview here: Frantz Fanon was a psychiatrist, philosopher, revolutionary, and author from Martinique. He was influential in the field of post-colonial studies and was perhaps the pre-eminent thinker of the 20th century on the issue of decolonization and the psychopathology of colonization. His works have inspired anti-colonial liberation movements for more than four decades.]
He chose his friends carefully, given the description of his friends he clearly sought out the radical fringe and those groups which tended towards Socialist and Marxist ideology.
If Barack did not favor a Socialist/Marxist ideology did he then seek such person out to be his friends?

Barack’s mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, was a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).
Typically a mentor is one who is meant to influence a person in a specific direction in life. A counselor, a teacher.

Campaign workers for Barack Obama displayed a flag featuring communist hero Che Guevara.

I haven’t heard since the first time I saw this image, but I am sure the flag has since been removed per the Obama campaign. Removed or not it demonstrates the type of person Obama attracts and inspires to work for his election.

Marx and Obama have in common a disdain for religion.
Speaking of small town America Obama said the following:

they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations

No less hostility was displayed by Marx when he stated:

Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the sentiment of a heartless world, and the soul of a soulless condition. It is the opium of the people

Or

Religion is the impotence of the human mind to deal with occurrences it cannot understand

Mr. Obama essentially echoed the thoughts of Karl Marx.

Mr. Obama makes claim to Christianity yet words such as this flow with ease from his heart, to his mind and out his mouth.

Perhaps not that surprising when you look closely at the church he attended for 20 years which taught from the pulpit a very Socialist perversion of the Gospel.

Senator Obama has previously worked with ACORN (though he has recently begun to deny any direct involvement with the group) which in the 1980 made a practice of placing squatters in unoccupied homes.

ACORN speaks to this on their website:

ACORN sought to place needy people in the resulting vacant homes. This required the forceful and illegal (though logical and moral) seizing of the properties - squatting.

The squatting campaigns involved personal, community and political dimensions. The personal needs of people without homes attracted many to advertisements ACORN placed in papers asking “Do you need a home?” The squatting campaign required a personal commitment to move into a vacant, usually poorly kept house and refit it for comfortable living. It also involved the risk of arrest if local authorities refused them the legal occupation of the home.

How very Marxist indeed.

Barack Obama was listed as being a member of the Socialist organization known as the New Party.
We all know about Bill Ayers the domestic terrorist and his association with Barack Obama.
Obama makes a regular claim that Ayers was just “Some guy in the neighborhood”.
Seem’s a tad odd that Obama would review and endorse a book for “Some guy in the neighborhood”.

Consider all of the above information to be puzzle pieces.
Each piece may not demonstrate on it’s own that Barack Obama is a Socialist or a Marxist.
But as we put all the pieces together the picture emerges in a very clear manner.

I by no means presented all of the pieces here, but enough were presented to know what the picture will look like when the last piece is added to the puzzle.

Many other blogs have covered this topic in much more depth than I have.

Marxists/Socialists/Communists for Obama

Posted on October 25th, 2008 in United States Politics by rfburnhertz

As I’ve noted I’ll be covering ground that has already been covered.
Nothing like a little reminder from time to time though.

Barack Obama has confirmed to me that he is indeed a socialist of the first order by way of word, action and association.

There are those in America who consider themselves to be Socialist, Communist or Marxist who don’t believe Obama falls into any of those categories.
They do however believe he represents their views close enough that they are willing to back him and give to him their votes.

That fact means something.

My Barack Obama Community Blogs

This group is for self-proclaimed Marxists/Communists/Socialists for the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency. By no means is he a true Marxist, but under Karl Marx’s writings we are to support the party with the best interests of the mobilization of the proletariat. Though the Democratic Socialists of America or the Communist Patty of America may have more Socialististic values, it is pointless to vote for these candidates due to the fact that there is virutally no chance they will be elected on a National level.

It also means something that a blog for self proclaimed “Marxist,Socialists, and Communists” would be allowed on the Obama site  my.barackobama.com is a part of barackobama.com).

One would think that someone who rejects such worldviews would also reject such content and statements being place on their campaign website.

Barack Obama may not be a full on Marxist, but he is damn close and too damn close as to be allowed to be the President of this nation.

That he would even be given such very serious consideration by the American people demonstrates just how very far we have moved from the America created and envisioned by those who founded our nation.
